VENDOR  SALES:        Sales exceed well over Half of a Million dollars annually.            We advertise heavily (99% of our advertising dollar goes to attracting customers—not vendors). You will find us in the Romantic Homes & Cottages & Bungalows distributed nationwide, the Country Register distibuted in California, Craftmaster News distributed throughout the Western United States, the Balboa Beacon, Costa Mesa & Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, and others.        Customer traffic is excellent!  We are a destination store where customers travel not only from short distances; also from far distances such Northern California, San Diego and the Valley due to word-of-mouth.        Debra’s Cottage is approximately 10,000 sq. ft. of shopping! It’s our variety of items that help attract people from all over! We even have Customers from other states as well as out of the country that make a point to come shop with us.        We offer as an option to the Vendors up-to-the-minute sales reports that are accessible through the web. With a web presence we also take pictures and feature the vendors on the web allowing customers nationwide/worldwide to purchase from the pictures. Scrapbooking and Stamping products & classes.        Organizations, special causes & Private parties are offered. OUR STORE AND STAFF:        Debra’s Cottage offers State-of-the-art security systems and computerized sales and inventory systems (vendors have the ability to lookup their daily sales on our Internet site {www.debrascottage.com}).        Our store is carpeted throughout, wide aisles, well lit and is sparkling clean from the aisle ways to the restrooms.        We offer complimentary coffee, tea and cookies to our customers while they shop.        NO bad checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express charges, or furniture deliveries are passed onto vendors.        For our customers, we offer Gift Certificates, Special Orders, and Furniture Delivery.        We will  decorate, sell and restock for Vendors who want to be in our store, but live too far to sell.        We offer Internet sales from store pictures and directly from on-line shopping (we are curently working on this - so watch it grow) and we ship nationwide                                            We are here to help you succeed. HOW TO LEASE A SPACE:        You can call and make an appointment bringing a few of your items and/or pictures for us to Review.  Debra’s Cottage selects Vendors based on three areas of criteria: 1) Quality of workmanship,  2) Variety of items {compared with others already in the store} and 3) No major line duplications. OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS:   Debra’s Cottage retains 15% commission on booth sales and 20% commission on furniture in furniture area.         No Advertising, Utilty or Miscellaneous Fees to the Vendor         Booth sizes range from 2ft wide x 4ft high; 4ft wide x 4ft high; 4ft wide x 8ft high and depths from 1 – 5 1/2ft; plus 8 ft wide x 8ft high x 8ft deep. Spaces vary within the store. Some are multiple spaces where a discountwould be applied.        Booth prices begin at approximately $50/month (2x4); $85/month 4x4; $150/4x8 and vary from there depending on depth. For exact pricing, we will show you the space(s) available during your appointment.  Booths are leased in six-month increments. We want you to give it your best and feel the six months give you a real feel of the retail industry. This is your opportunity to have a small store without the overhead. We have many vendors who expand and have been with us since we opened.  Vendors are paid on the 5th of each month. Commissions are automatically deducted from sales totals. Booth rent may be deducted by your sales or you may elect to pay your rent on the 1st .        1st month's booth rent and last month’s/security deposit are required at signing of contract.        We think you'll love being a part of Debra’s Cottage.
